SkanCode A/S is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the website and the creation of subscriptions.
When customers use the SkanMate platform to process their own data, SkanCode A/S acts as a data processor in accordance with a separate data processing agreement.
We process personal data in accordance with:
- The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- The Danish Data Protection Act
- Applicable cookie and ePrivacy regulations
2. Processing of Personal Data
2.1 Creation of Account and Subscription
When you create an account, we may process:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- Company information
- Login credentials
Purpose:
- Creation and administration of account
- Provision of subscription services
- Customer support
- Operation and security
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) – performance of a contract.
2.2 Payment
Payments and subscription administration are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.
Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment solution and processed by Stripe as an independent data controller.
SkanMate does not have access to or store full payment card details.

We may use your email address for:

3. Hosting and Data Storage
Data and infrastructure are hosted exclusively within the EU.
- Primary data storage: Frankfurt, Germany
- Infrastructure: Frankfurt (DE) and Stockholm (SE)
- Automatic routing to the nearest server for optimal performance
